"Swimming, swimming, in the swimming hole,
When days are hot, when days are cold, in the swimming hole.
Breast stroke, side stroke, fancy diving too...
Don't you wish you never had anything else to do?"

Oh, the joy that song stirs in my heart! I can't count the hours my sisters and I spent singing this song while playing in inner tube at Clear Lake, CA. My grandparents had a wonderful brick cabin, right on the lake. My family spent most all of our summer vacations there. Swimming, fishing, playing canasta, catching blue belly lizards.......it was so much fun. We have so many amazing memories of those days. One thing is for sure. The garment of choice was our swimsuit. We put our suits on first thing in the morning and never took them off until bed time.

Is your little girl's doll ready for a summer full of water fun? If not, you are at the right place. We have just released the first of several groups of swimsuits. This line is Lavender and Lollipops. It is as cute as can be! A two toned lavender strip swimsuit fabric is the basis for this outfit. This light-hearted fabric is used in a classic one-piece and a cute two-piece, which incorporates not only the strip, but a rich amethyst purple swimsuit. Complimenting these two suits are two more classic suits in amethyst. One has an almost pleated half-ruffle accenting the neckline. On the second, I hand-made pretty little flowers to embellish the suit. Is your family ready for summer fun? Are you heading out to the lake, pool or ocean. or spending time at the neighborhood pool, the sprinklers or a small pool in the backyard, your girls will want their dolls to be all ready to have a blast in the water (pretend!), too!
